FAST offers several different ways to pay your bus fare.
You may pay your fare with cash by inserting it into the farebox on the bus. The driver cannot give change, so you will need to have the exact fare amount with you.
|Cash Fare (Single Ride)||Adult||Youth||SDM|
If you ride the bus often, you may want to purchase a bus pass. Passes are a convenient way to pay your fare because you won’t need to have the exact change. In addition some passes reduce the amount you will pay for your fare.
If you are paying with a pass, you can either insert the pass into the farebox or slide the pass across the reader at the top of the farebox. If you have mobility limitations and are unable to reach the fare machine, you can ask the driver for assistance.
FAST offers Adult, Youth, and Senior/Disabled/Medicare (SDM) passes. These passes may reduce the amount of the fare per ride, depending the type of pass. Adult, Youth, and SDM passes may be purchased at various location throughout Fairfield and Suisun City. Click on the “Purchase in Person” link at the left for information on where to purchase your passes.
Fairfield and Suisun Transit reserves the right to confiscate a pass for improper use or for violation of system rules. Reproduction of passes is a criminal offense and violators shall be prosecuted. Passes cannot be refunded or replaced. ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
Ages 5 & under. Up to two children may ride free when accompanied by a fare paying responsible adult. Children may not ride without an adult.
Senior (65+)/Disabled/Medicare (SDM) passengers must show one of the following forms of ID when purchasing an SDM pass and boarding the bus: Regional Transit Connection (RTC) Card, ADA Paratransit ID Card, Federal Medicare ID Card (with photo ID), California Driver’s License/ID (age 65+), or a FAST SDM Card.
